Girly-Girl Challenge, Day 2: Gimme That Bling

Are you hungry?? Cause I made a jelly sandwich!!!  10 of them to be exact!!! LOL

Inside with Window Light:

"Jellin Like A Felon"

I have been wanting to try this technique out for awhile now.  I forget exactly where I saw it first but never-the-less, it was on my "To Do One Day" list!

Outside Light:

Here is THE BLING close up!!

Sooooo... if you don't know what a "jelly sandwich" is yet- it's where you start with a base coat of a jelly nail polish, a couple other polishes if you wish, glitter, then apply the jelly on top encasing the glitter!

I used:
Barielle's Elle's Spell (for the base) - a red flakie jelly
Revlon's Watermelon Fizz  (SMELLS SO GOOD) & NCLA's Hollywood It-Girl (glittery pink)
then,
Nicole by OPI Rainbow in the S-Kylie (clear base w/ multi colored Hex glitter)
& then,
Barielle's Elle's Spell (on top)

Topped it off with CND Super Shiny Top Coat!

I apologize- I don't have the greatest of cameras for close ups!! :(

But, I hope you liked my version!!  Now, go check out all the other lovelies participating in this challenge!!

Girly-Girl Challenge Day 1: Think Pink

Hello bloggers/blogettes/stalkers!! ;-)  I joined a Nail Art Challenge started by Lindsey, from Neverland Nail Blog.  This is my First Blogger Nail Challenge series!  I'm totally stoked to be a part of this & I'm looking forward to see what everyone who is participating will come up with!!  A lot of new blogs (to me anyway!).

These are the "rules":
4 weeks total, 2 posts a week: Tuesdays & Thursdays
 CLICK TO MAKE BIGGER!!!

The lovely 22 bloggers/blogs besides me:

Stephanie/ A Little Polish
Danielle/ Lacquer Lover
Elly/ Polishable
Eugenia/ Talon-ted
Amanda/ Nox Nails
Robin, Erin, Anna/ Polished Cousins

Okay, onto my NOTD:

I chose......
From China Glaze's Electropop 2012 Collection.

Dance Baby is a creamy barbie/bubble gum pink!  While it is a gorgeous color, I was actually disappointed by the thickness of the polish!  Do any of you own this- what do you think of it???

2 coats

"Plaid About You"

This was my inspiration picture

Not quite like the pattern but my nails are narrow and can only fit so much!!!  I used it primarily for the color scheme.  So altogether I used: CG Dance Baby, Finger Paints Stunning Stilettos and Kiss Nail Stripers in Pink, Black and White... My black is really thick and hard to control lately!!!  I either need a new one or some polish thinner!  I just worked with what I had to the best of my ability.  Hope you liked!
If you did, please give me feedback below- a comment or check whether you found this neat, interesting, cool- what have you!

Thanks so much!! xoxo Til next time :)

Everbella Review - Part 2

So I was contemplating buying Dollish Polish - Team Salvatore and I had it in my cart a few times but did not purchase :( :( :(  I'm a big fan of the show (Vampire Diaries...come on March 15th!) and the polish looked fantastic to boot!!  Now the shop is on vacation, Wahhh!!!  So what's a girl to do??!!

This is what:

My own "knock off" look of the original

Here is what I used:
L->R: Orly Rock Solid, Nicole by Opi - Rainbow in the S-Kylie (only silver hex glitter), Everbella.com Square rhinestone wheel (red & black) and Everbella.com glitter dust

These are my nails against Adventure In Acetone's photo from her blog!!  I love the look of it over the gray/silver polish.

It was super fun creating this dupe look and the Rhinestone squares from Everbella.com were just perfect!!

Make sure to use this coupon if you're going to place an order anytime!!

Everbella Review

Florence from Everbella.com sent me a few items off her website to review.

Nail Art Deco Rhinestone Wheel

Nail Art Deco Glitter Dust Set - Stripe (Long)

Nail Art Deco Glitter Dust Set Mix

These all come with a free glue.. however I just applied over a clear coat.

When these arrived in the mail, I exclaimed "GLITTER"!!!  Immediately I thought of Ke$ha!!
So here is my inspiration photo:

Here is what I used:

L->R: Opi Black Shatter, Seche Vite Top Coat, CND Shiney Top Coat, Orly Bonder Base Coat and Brucci Nail Hardener

L->R: Sinful Dream On, CG: Turned Up Turquoise, Orly Passion Fruit, CG: In the Lime Light, Sinful Cloud 9

Step One:

Step Two:

 Step Three:

What a difference the black crackle makes!!
These turned out soooooo gorgeous!!!!  I would have loved to snap these in the sun- unfortunately the weather has been very crappy lately :(  I will have to do them again just to document the Bling!  The glitter strands added a lot to this look :)  So happy with how it turned out!

And Florence was so kind to extend a special 10% discount to my readers!!

So if you're looking for some *sparkle*, or anything else- definitely take a look at her site!  The long glitter dust is $3.39 and you get 12 colors for that price!

The next post I have for you, features the glitter mix & the square rhinestones!

 (: Thanks for reading :)

(this review is my true honest opinion and I do not represent the company in any way)

Leopard Love

I had planned on doing Pink Wednesday since I haven't in some time, but I had Gold on my nails (which I'm really digging) and wanted to spice it up some more... Here's what I did!

My First Stamping Attempt: Whatcha think?!?!

On top of SH Gold Chrome I put Wet & Wild Fireworks, a bit of the NCLA Hollywood Hits Hot Number... Seche Vite Top Coat.. then when dry, I stamped with BM plate 22-1; Konad black

Took the picture before clean up - My bad!!  This is way sparkly in person!

Happy Leap Day!!
