CTD... La La LA La!!

I am loving my current mani!!! 

Check this out!  I won a bottle of Essie: Barefoot In Blue from DailyMakeover.com.  If you didn't know... This is a limited edition polish for TOMS, encouraging people to go without shoes April 10th (obviously this passed)!  

 Why?  To spread awareness of the impact a pair of shoes can have on a child’s life...Millions of children live without proper footwear, exposing them to injury and disease every day. 

I love this- I really do- but I will never walk barefoot on anything other than grass (IF I do!)... reason being is I've been barefoot before in a park b/c my shoes were bothering me & well the rest wasn't too pretty after that- hello,  foot doctors & liquid nitrogen!!!  Ugh I digress.... So this is why I said MANI not PEDI and the fact that I just received it now-LOL!  And I have Essie Navigate Her on my TOES!  Triple Wammie!

 This Blue is such a gorgeous baby blue!!!  As soon as I got it- I had to put it on!

And I finally got my Lynderella, Connect The Dots so I threw it on top & what a combo!!!

Gorgeous or what?!?!!!  I know there is a dupe for this one, but I think it was worth the wait :)

Nail Art Challenge: Disney Villains

Over at Temptalia.com there was a post about submitting an entry for nail art depicting a Disney Villain.  I had already done The Queen of Hearts so I decided to do another one of my favorites!

I used these pics as my "inspiration"...

I submitted my entry on Tues the 24th... not sure when or if they will post on her site, I will let you guys know!  Not sure if I should even post here but I read nothing that said I couldn't... so..... without further ado:

I just painted in steps & took my sweet time!!!  Hope you like :)  It was a lot of fun doing this!  I enjoy a challenge!!!

3. More Haul Posts (Trust me one is coming- I've refrained from any polish this month!!!!!!)

Quick NOTD

Hey Everyone!  Sorry it's been awhile... had family visit & have been working on re-doing the downstairs flooring & finishing up a guest bedroom!!  I also took part in the fun glamour shoot over the weekend & for that I just had black on my nails... but after it was over, I decided to do some accent nails with Voodoo Doll by Amy from NailVenturous Lacquers!

 I want to apply this again with no base and take pics outside!!!

Tuesday night I had some Girl Time Fun and painted Samantha's Nails:

Her favorite color is Green!

Once again I didn't use tape, I just free handed the "V"s and added the light green rhinestones.. I love how it came out!!

Harlow & Co. Misfits

Today I have for you a pretty polish and review!!

I had to have this polish not only for the cool name but because it looked like an awesome grey/black glitter with a hint of a rainbow?...

Ahem, I digress...

 

 It comes in a .5oz round or square bottle and retails for $10.  The website description says:

 "Charcoal grey glittery goodness, splashes of silver and holographic glitter, sprinkled with black hexograms"

 It's been overcast so the left and top right are inside photos with lighting on them and the bottom right is outside for a sec hoping the sun would show up!!  Again, I don't have the greatest of cameras but it is very pretty/sparkly especially in the sun and at times (like the photo above) you can see a bit of red, blue, green reflecting back...but that's only in sun (and actual bottle)..

Application wasn't the easiest.  It's on the thick side... but if you start with thin layers, you'll be fine!!  Very happy with this *jem* of a misfit!
